Our Story
Built From a Pool Service Business, Not a Sales Pitch
Planet Pool started as a weekly pool service and repair company in Orlando, and that is still where most of our relationships begin. Renovation and resurfacing grew directly out of that work – homeowners we already service asked us to bring their aging pools back to life, and we built a dedicated renovation team to do it right.
Our owner-operators carry a valid Certified Pool Operator license and pass a background check before they ever set foot in your backyard. We are locally owned and operated, serving Orlando and Tampa, and we treat every renovation the same way we treat weekly service – like it is our own pool.

How do I get a quote?

How often should my pool be cleaned?
Once a week, whether your pool is screened or open, and especially in summer when it gets the most use. In Florida, sunlight breaks down chlorine fast, and leaves, pollen and runoff constantly bring in algae and bacteria, so water quality slips quickly without regular care. Commercial pools usually need more frequent service.
What are the signs my pool needs professional help?
Cloudy or discolored water: milky, green, yellow or brown water means the chemistry or filtration is off.
Weak water flow: poor flow through the skimmer, drain, pump and filter means the water isn’t being cleaned properly.
Stains on walls and floor: leaves and debris left too long decompose and stain the surface.
Bugs and wildlife: insects, frogs and other critters end up in Florida pools year-round. We clear and sanitize as part of every visit.
Scaling: crusty calcium and mineral buildup is a sign the pH and alkalinity are out of balance.
Do you only do renovations, or regular service too?
Both. Weekly service and repairs are where we started, and renovation grew out of it. Many of our renovation clients stay with us for service afterward, so the same team that rebuilt the pool keeps it looking new.
