Renovations

It all begins with a professional diagnosis.

Renovation, conversely, is an investment in the pool’s longevity, addressing wear and tear such as cracked tiling or outdated coping to bring the vessel back to a “like-new” state.

This involves a systematic evaluation of the pool’s current state, including structural integrity, plumbing pressure tests, and equipment audits. Accurate diagnostics prevent the “masking” of underlying issues, such as slow leaks or soil instability, which could compromise new finishes.

These are our Renovation services

1

Pool Surface

The interior finish is the most vital component of the pool’s aesthetic and its primary waterproof barrier. Planet Pool specializes in three primary classes of interior finishes.

Tile

The waterline tile serves as the transition between the interior finish and the coping. It protects the pool shell from the “scum line” created by body oils and debris, and it provides a decorative accent.

Coping

The protective cap or border installed around the top edge of the pool wall, covering the bond beam and providing the primary transition to the deck.

Cantilever Coping: This modern design involves extending the decking material (usually poured concrete) directly over the pool’s edge, creating a smooth, seamless overhang.
